Bringing Joy and Comfort to Thailand

The Rex Maughan Forever Giving Foundation recently partnered with the Father Ray Foundation in its mission to help underprivileged and disabled children in Pattaya, Thailand. For nearly 50 years, the Father Ray Foundation has provided children in need a home, an education, meals, medical assistance, and the opportunity to reach their full potential in a safe, supportive space. 

Exemplifying the power of collective generosity and community outreach, Forever Giving teamed up with Forever Living Products to give back to the local community at their annual Eagle Manager Retreat, hosted in Pattaya. A toy drive encouraged hundreds of attendees to bring a cuddle toy to the event, and they could also contribute to a fund benefiting Father Ray's programs. 

In total, supporters donated over 400 cuddle toys along with in-kind donations, including much-needed hygiene and food items for the Children’s Village and Day Care Center at the Father Ray Foundation.  

During a special visit, these items were hand-delivered to the children by a group of 50 dedicated individuals supporting the Rex Maughan Forever Giving Foundation. They began at the Day Care Center, playing with the toddlers and bringing them food and cuddle toys. 

For the remainder of the visit, Forever Giving’s supporters went to the Children’s Village, where about 155 children live. A young boy welcomed them by singing and playing guitar, and other children performed in a talent show — including a dance routine and a Michael Jackson impression. The group gave a toy to each of the children and spent time interacting with them and bonding over a game of basketball. 

There were so many cuddle toys leftover that the Father Ray Foundation will be able to wrap them as Christmas gifts and distribute them to the organization’s other programs. 

“What we did was something money can't buy,” says Hafsa Manti, who took part in delivering toys to the children. “We gave them our love, our energy, and our positive beliefs and affection. I am thankful to have this opportunity — giving is what brings meaning to my life.” 

 This partnership showcases the profound impact that selfless acts of giving can have, not only on the lives of those in need but also on the individuals who open their hearts to give back. It's a reminder that sometimes the most valuable gifts we can offer come from the heart.
