Taking place on the last Tuesday of November, Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that encourages people to give of their time, skills, goods, money, or advocacy. It also sheds a light on the work of nonprofit organizations and helps them raise funds for their causes.

In 2021, Forever Giving did a “Pie in the Face Challenge” to benefit Rise Against Hunger, an international nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger in developing countries. In total, Forever Giving raised $10,000 in one day through this Giving Tuesday campaign, which helped Rise Against Hunger in its effort to provide medical supplies to at-risk populations in the Dominican Republic. The medical supplies sent included PPE such as surgical gloves, face masks and gowns as well as antibiotics and prenatal vitamins worth more than $6 million.

The charitable challenge was a team effort from Forever Living employees and Forever Business Owners around the world. For every $2,000 raised, a Forever Living executive got a pie in their face, which was captured on video. Once the $10,000 goal was reached, Forever Living President Gregg Maughan took the final pie in the face.

Since partnering together in 2017, Forever Giving has helped Rise Against Hunger impact 2.8 million lives across 41 countries, including packing 1 million meals for the hunger relief organization.

The 2021 Giving Tuesday donation aided Forever Giving in its mission to support organizations that help women and children facing hunger, poverty and limited access to medical care. Contribute to this cause by donating today
